In Moodle, you tin can drag files directly from your figurer desktop or an application window into your course.

Known Issues

  • This feature works with recent versions of Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and with Safari 6 for Mac Os ten.7 and later on.
  • Drag-and-driblet does not work with Microsoft Internet Explorer nine or earlier, or Safari 5.x or earlier.
  • If you aren't able to reliably rearrange resources that you lot have just uploaded, refresh the page.
  • You lot cannot drag and drib a folder of files into Moodle.

Drag and Drib Upload within an Activity

When uploading files from within an activity, you lot tin can drag and driblet files straight into the Files area.

  1. Arrange your computer desktop windows so that you can view both your browser window and your files on your computer (e.g., in an open folder or on your desktop).
  2. Drag files from your computer, and release them on top of the blue arrow in the Selectfiles area.

    Notation: If you have the Google Bulldoze application installed and y'all are dragging files from your Google Drive into Moodle, employ caution when uploading a .gdoc file. Files with a .gdoc extension are in a Google proprietary format and must exist viewed online in Google Apps. Drag and Drop Files into a Section on your Grade Page
